Look for the direction where it is really cloudy with high chances of lightning.
Setup tripod and set your camera to the optimum setting. I was using ISO400, f8 4secs.
Set remote to on shutter after each shot.
Just wait for lightning to strike.

The keep rate is around 5% to 15%.
I don't see those as fail shots but shots needed to successfully capture those shots.
