Signs - I seriously had no idea what that thing is, and it's definitely not a lighthouse so I don't know what to title this.

hi. the yellow thing is called a beacon.
its used to guide the ships when they are onroute. jus google beacon =)

Was something I tried unsuccessfully long time ago using a lighter camera. Seems to work better with a heavier camera and an ultra-wide angle lens. Basically you focus from a wide angle and while taking a slow shutter picture (I think this is 1/6secs), turn the ring to zoom in while taking your shot.
