Difficulties you encountered and hard time you have had are probably due to your working mode. Manufacturers designed elaborated prosumers but they programmed them as if everybody is newbie and no one is expert : in doing so, they introduced surprising hidden limitations that often prevent you from achieving good expected photos. I can show and point out for you these particular limitations but i need you shoot some pictures for me as follow :
First of all, please set your bridge to 200 ISO and take a portrait of someone by a bright sunny day, with a building (or a tree) and a nice blue sky behind him or her.
Secondly, put two chairs near a window : one chair right in front of the window and the other chair beside the window. Then set your bridge to 100 ISO and take me two pictures in the morning or in the end of the afternoon : one picture of the chair in front of the window, and one picture of the chair beside the window without the window in the frame.
Afterwards, please, feel free to post your 3 photos on this thread.
