Location : ClubSNAP Gallery @ Funan Unit #02-18
Time: 15 May, Sunday, 2016, 1pm - 3pm (2 Hour).
Come join us this coming Sun 15 May for a talk by Jed Wee, who is back for a short holiday in Singapore from the UK
Follow Jed on a photographic journey to different places, with stops in Iceland, Indonesia, Morocco, Sicily and the UK. Hear about his thought processes and little insights into the photographic quirks of each location.
Jed was born and raised in Singapore before moving to the UK graduating from Law School. However, he decided to follow his heart and passion to become a professional photographer, since 2002. He joined a sports agency and spent ten years as a working photojournalist, photographing major national and international sporting events. During his career he has photographed some of the biggest sporting names, and his images have been published in magazines and all the major UK national newspapers, as well as various international publications.
His photographic education began back in the film days with experience in formats up to 5x4, when he was a moderator on Clubsnap prior to leaving for the UK. These days Jed is an experienced digital photographer, having made the crossover as far back as 2000. He is a regular speaker and judge in the UK camera club circuit, and also teaches post processing and photography skills. He holds a Masters degree in the Photographic Image, as well as various trade and association qualifications.
A keen wildlife and landscape photographer, Jed now also conducts bird of prey and landscape photographic workshops for other photographers keen on learning more about their cameras and improving their photography.
His work can be found at www.essence-of-light.com
