I didn't see this picture before leh. Saw the crack on the floor before lah (like some crack of the butt like that) but the rest all never seen before. Or maybe I didn't pay attention to your "artistic" "abstract" shots lor! Spend more time oogling over your model pictures I think...
Anyway, for this picture, it's interesting for two reasons:
(1) the orientation and DI have reduced what we normally perceived as some form of chinese calligraphy into sort of science-fi movie. Almost Matrix-like lor.
(2) the black lines formed with the lobang between the red wordings effectively resembles a cage within the frame.
I think the picture could be improve if you just crop the left side away, the side containing the border/frame of the calligraphy. Make it surreal, without telling too much what it is...
Apart from these, I'm quite puzzled by your usage of red and yellow. However, that's pretty much open to debate, for colour could mean different things to different people. To me, red is pretty out of place in this case. And maybe that's why this picture is more interesting than the rest.
Now, do you want me to rate it "it sucks" or "mi grandmother could shoot it better"? :sticktong

Hee hee~! Let me be the devil's advocate and have my fill about what's wrong with this picture. Or rather, when placed side by side with a similar shot "Untitled #65", this shot is so much more inferior, in my opinion lah.
I shan't say too much about what's good about the photo, cos I think most people could immediately point out the strong lines and how it resembles certain objects, making it an abstract of something else. Shall focus instead on what I feel is wrong about this...
The lines aside, the picture is just not as strong in terms of the message. Part of the reason is that you gave too close a crop to the picture for the sofa. By just moving out a little bit, the feel of one solitary seat may be much stronger than this treatment per se. Also, the indecisiveness of the little amount of floor right now, just doesn't seems to indicate whether you are happy or unhappy with the inclusion of the floor. Either crop it away or give it more. Just a little peeking out is just err... so Singaporean! Hahaa~! :bsmilie:
"Untitled #65" on the other hand is much stronger in intend. While the crop is similarly close as that of #66, the legs of another chair peeking into the frame give the a stronger idea of loneliness.
Anyway, as commented by khairiberry, he thinks that your abstract are way better than your model shots. I agree with him mostly, unless if you could source for some super chio babe to shoot!

p.s. I so hate you guys for putting Untitled #something something. Total disrespect to my idol-photographer. Or is it photographer-idol?
