Hi, was looking posts from you and saw this pic. Pretty nice use of BnW I must say.

Hope you don't mind, I got 2 points you may wanna watch out for:

1. the subject matter should be clearly represented in the composition. Were you taking a picture of the railway station(+ the tracks), or were you focusing on the lamposts? If taking pic of the station, might wanna consider composing a landscape shot instead, and angle the camera view steeper. Using the railway tracks as leading lines might give a better feel to the composition as well.

2. The pics show some "pincushioning" (the warped sensation) especially the railway tracks. May wanna remove this via photoshop.

Other than that, great job on your keen attitude towards getting a shot you wanted to take. Ganbatte!

Taken @ St John Island... i knw thw horizon is tilted... If use CS2 to edit.. how do i make the horizon straight.?

u can "cltr R" to view rulers, pull down a guide, then "cltr T" to rotate or transform till u find it straight, then if need to, might have to crop accordingly.

Not sure if have better methods not. :)

C&C welcome. but no flaming here... thanks. =)

The grass in the background.

It looks as if its 'exploding' and spoils the overall calmness of the hibiscus.
Perhaps you could have chosen a calmner background. :)
