Thanks for pointing out!

OK... I've been MIA for a while, all thanks to the Fifa World Cup! Now with the game entering its final stage (and my favourite team advances in a big way!), I can finally continue with my posting. For those who have been visiting this thread, I'm going to continue sharing photos from my China trip back in Dec last year.

After visiting the Temple of Heaven, we chose to kill some time at Beijing's largest antique market before catching our flight to Xi'an in the late afternoon. There were many vendors in this open-air market battling the cold weather to sustain their stagnant business. It was quite interesting to see all sorts of scultures, artifacts, porcelains, watches, books, etc, albeit most of them were fake and repetative among different vendors. I find it a good place to hunt for some nice and bargainable home deco pieces, but I wouldn't be going back the second time as a tourist. Overall 5.5/10.

After a short stint in the wonderful Beijing, we took the Xiamen Airline to the ancient city of Xi'an. We spent only 2D1N in Xi'an, but it was indeed a once-in-a-life-time trip for me :)

#150. The iconic "Drum Tower" (鼓楼) in the heart of the Xi'an city centre. We arrived at our hotel at around 9.30pm and this shot was taken while we were heading to the nearby Qing Zhen night street.

You got the DRUM and Bell Towers mixed up :) This is actually the Bell Tower (at the roundabout). The DRUM Tower (which was shown as CLOCK Tower in your other photo) is located nearer to the Muslim quarters.

Nice pics... hope u didn't miss the Terracotta warriors there.

I love your street shots, they portray the bustling city very aptly. :)
