But usually the RAID is done/setup by the option in the bios, that should already not prove as a problem, pretty straightfoward.

My RAID will be viewed as juz an ordinary IDE HDD to the system. (That's why I like it in the first place)

A few times bootup BIOS dosent detect IDE devices so my RAID was not detected.

yeah... direct link to the IDE now since I got SATA DVD. Still got same symptoms.

Hmm ... I don't think it works that way.

From what i learnt from one of the staffs from Storage studio whom i know who retails the acusys raid cages, the acusys is a standalone raid device that needs no RAID card to be installed and its a raid device ITSELF.

So from this point - i guess the onboard RAID functionality should be disabled as its catered towards RAID using SATA drives directly connected to the mainboard.

That leaves on how vista would "see" the drive which i'm not certain.

Yeah... alreadi disabled. But somehow it still autodetect and tell me a non-raid device was installed.

cannot be driver loh... like you said. there's no wahtwver driver required.

Viz 06 can't open files of Viz 07. :confused:

er..... hahaha.... well... autodesk always have to save at a lower version if u wanna open a newer version in a old version software....
 

since when old version can b opened with new version files??? eh... .got 07 cd? i think i nid to reinstall mine.... :embrass:

sure way to kill ur comp. Do photoshop A1 panels, viz, microstation, msn and surf net all at once. :confused:
