Very cute!
If I were the Canon GM I will employ you full time and pay you high high and get you to do marketing for Canon.

Wow. Good shot. Nikon's latest crop offering a proven hit. Sometimes I lament a full frame lacking the extra reach.

Thanks. Your shot of the girl on the bridge is very good.

Well...no harm injecting a little humour and add some fun to this thread right;)

Thanks guys.

Nice compo but prefer the top quarter to be trimmed off. Just personal.

No problem. I was in two minds myself over the crop.

limwhow: here is a seagull shot using a "dark" DX camera. No sharping, cropping etc. It is furtile to resist the force.

Wa! So sharp until I can see it's a male bird!!

Here is the shot Daoyin.
Heres cat jumping over hoop shot at Inle.

I love the lighting, it highlights the action and makes it stand out even more.

You ladies and gentlemen think that we will jump right onto Inle Lake without going through the travelogue proper?
How can it be?
As much as Melvin and Adrian are slave-drivers, I am a diligent recorder.
This night (Day 4) will not end without some record shots... hahaha...

Day 4 - Mandalay: As the day ended....

We had our share of fun at U Bein Bridge shooting and shooting.
Honestly, this U Bein Bridge was truly a spectacle. And it was unforgettable for me, as I am sure it was just as unforgettable for every one in the team.

Dinner that evening was at a surprisingly impressive Chinese Restaurant, the Golden Duck Restaurant not far from our hotel in Mandalay.
Snores from the four corners of the coach emitted as we drove through the streets of Mandalay in the dark.
I struggled to keep the zzzzz- bug away just so that i could snap some record shots to remember Mandalay by.

The streets of Mandalay takes on a different hue at night.
I was suitably impressed with quite a number of very modern-looking buildings, boasting huge billboards and even sprawling shops selling fashion wears.

These are merely some record shots of the night scene.
Not good enough because most were taking from the moving coach through the window...

We arrived at Golden Duck Restaurant to find it filled to the brim with diners.
Quite the can hor, the Mandalayians?! Haha…
But jokes aside, it was really a very enjoyable dinner as we joked and talked over dinner, enjoying the jovial company of our fellow shooters.

As per standard operating procedure of SgTrekker, at the end of every tiring day, the Tour Leader will certainly make sure that his Trekkers are well fed and well-drunk.
And Melvin definitely excelled that very evening.
This bunch of tired but full photographers finally stumbled into the lobby of Mandalay City Hotel to be given the usual instruction of gathering in the lobby at 6am the next morning.
Sheeeeewwww…! This Melvin NEVER gives up, does he?!

As usual Doc, your travelogue record shots always stand out on it's own. Kudos to you! Cheers!

Why, thank you Gapman!
A record photographer has to do what humble job a record photographer has to do.

Day 5: The Magic of Inle Lake.
…. Early morning at Mandalay City Hotel.

We awoken to another brand new day to find the sky still pitch black at 5am.
The rooms of Mandalay City Hotel were really of a generous size.
And many of our rooms had a cul-de-sac at the corner of the room which housed a nice study corner.
Too bad we didn't have much opportunity to enjoy more of this room.

6am saw all of us assembled at the hotel lobby, grabbing whatever the hotel staff could muster in terms of breakfast, to prepare us for the road ahead.

Professor Murphy strikes again here at Mandalay City Hotel.
It was only this morning that I learned of our good mate tazzie21's tripod...

This Melvin and Ko Ko Aye were very on the ball.
They always count each time we boarded the coach to make sure the number was correct.
Just that... Ko Ko Aye counted in Tik, Ni, Thong, Lay, Nga, Chao, Kone, Sheet, Ko, Thase...
while Melvin did it in our usual way.
So funny... like that one chicken one duck...
Someday Professor Murphy sure will come swooping down to c*ck it up one...
