are you sure with GST? Parisilk tend to quote without GST. so 2960x1.07=3167 sounds more reasonable

yeah u better reconfirm if the price is 2960 WITH gst.

i bought mine from them back in march for ard $3100+ (with kit lens $4575).

Hmm yea do check with the shop whether there is GST included? Cos some shops do list their prices without GST to lure customers in. If this price has got the GST included then its surely a good buy

Parisilk will always quote you without and with GST. $2960 is without GST.

in indonesia, 5dmk2 is selling for around 18.2million rupiah which is around 2650sgd. with 1 year indo warranty. but the box is not body only box, its the body+lens kit box.
what is the downside of getting the lens box? im thinking of buying for myself

downside? problem in selling as 2nd hand when you decided for next upgrade...(perhaps) for me, i wont buy without box, just as an assurance in reselling...

i think u misread what he type... what he mean is the box is not the body only box... but rather the body+kit lens box.

i got this same arrangement when i buy from paris silk, they took out the kit lens, sold me the cam along with the body+kit lens box... they had to wait for new shipment to come in (those boxed body only), then they can swap box with me... but after buying... within half an hour, i decided to go back (dun want to wait for the box to be swap back to me) and buy the kit lens as well and sold it off to someone who is keen in the kit lens.
