I got a friend in JB to check for me. Its slightly cheaper than Singapore (less than $200 difference). But their price does not include the standard freebies like CF card, bag and guide book. Only thing is troublesome to drive to Canon JB and the waiting period.

try prangin mall, the price at the shop on the ground floor near the entrance was quite reasonable last time i went there.

Sorry sorry guys too busy till no time to check my mail.Actually the selling price is $2900, i accidently typed in 6 instead. U need to get smtg more than just a body to get this price. Just a note for u guys,the sellers there are monitoring what we are discussing,so beware of figures. As for shop wise..eh..sorry though,i promised tht fellow nt to mention.Shop is nt in shopping mall,so it's still a clue huh. ;p
