No Local warranty leh.... for a mere 200 bucks you wanna cross the custom for services? Moreover, very hard to sell here if you decided to "upgrade". Think twice my friend.

Gotta keep in mind the warranty is 3 years though on the other side of the causeway, warranty extension is also very expensive locally.

thanks simmeow for the heads up but like sabee mentioned, the warranty is 3 years over at that side and i stay in the west. JB quite near for me actually. the 5dmk2 will definitely stay with me for awhile... cant ask for anything better at my level (AND income) i guess. haha

True. im satisfied with the lenses i have at the moment, the Ls will come at the right time in the near future when i get better, and richer. and i like high iso, and i want to play with video lol so imo, dont think it makes sense to settle for 2nd best if you can get a good camera at a pretty good price right now.

yah i bought 3 mths ago from them at $3168. but they sell me from the kit set... they will keep the box first till the shipment for standalone set comes then swop the box and return back to you.

in the end i went back to them again top up and get the kit lens and sell it off then keep the original box the kit set is $4575
