a bit too fast for 5DMKII life cycle... its only 18mths

It really depends on how fast the other camp comes out with a competitive camera. 5D Mk II took 3yrs to come out because at that time there is simply no competition. If Nikon launches a new model that competes directly with 5D Mk II, then you can bet Canon will be launching Mark III shortly afterwards.

Very shock to see a slash of ~15% (?) while 5D2 is still in a league of its own IMHO.

Even after the roll out of 5Dmk3, such a huge discount would be a very surprise for me.

5D MKII is good, but AF is still old school. If 7D AF + FF, fwah, buy/sell will be full of camera bodies for sale.

seen this one yeah its below 3k @ 2988 is am not mistaken 300 more and you got a new body.. but as what others said its a heart pain to let go of 5d mk2 now after the change.... still camping there in BnS

To all those who think it is shop warranty, it is not (it is from canon).
Parisilk don't sell grey market stuff, i have personally bought 7D in past and these ppl have all different range of cameras/lens.

How come if yen got weaker why the price of lens is not reducing? This price drop could be due to Nikon Camera coming out D700s? I hope they are releasing M3 but again we don't know exact reason for sudden drop.
