That will be strange, i think all canon lover will come and see canon equipment discussion and this thread "5DMk2 $3.3k with GST" is the at the top of the page.
Then good for the seller lor. There's no "correct price" or "right price" to sell. It's been, and always will be, an agreement between buyer and seller to transact at a price agreed upon. The seller is not obligated to inform the seller of the market trends or conditions. The onus is on the buyer to make his own research and considered to have done so at the point of transaction. The only time it's not right is if the seller willfully withholds information not readily available that impacts the integrity of the product, with intent to cheat the seller.

Wait if you must, but in the world of electronics, today is yesterday. So I have decided to keep my 5D and invest in lenses, especially those that can last at least 10 years with little or no maintenance and be as good as those coming out in 10 years.

While it is the best time to buy 5DMkII, those upgraders will have to bear in mind that it doesn't just stop at $3.2k. There is the grip, the additional battery, the focusing screen, the OVF magnifier, the Arca style plates. Then there are the FF lenses to drool over - the Ls, the ZEs, the whatever else. Then there are the B+W/Hoya/Kenko UV and Cokin/Lee filters. So before you take the plunge, check how deep the water really is
