TS should have changed his camera name from 5D Mk II to 5D "M P"!

Michael Phelps!

This thread should be in Kopitiam.

My sympathies to TS. So what are you going to do with the cam, send to CSC? I wonder how much they charge to replace all the corroded parts.

Out of curiosity... Are you shooting at XMM? Which XMM makes you so "gan cheong" and fumbled?

Even if its a joke, good luck for trying to sell your 5D2 in the BnS in the near future.

Sad but funny. A new 5D MkII awaits you at the store!

thats a nice statement. so lets see, if a 5D MkII costs you around 3-4K and a 1DsMkIII cost much much more. does that mean the 1Ds will be required to float as well.. but happens to be denser than the 5D.

well, too bad, blame gravity for it not "swimming back to you".

1Ds MkIII can fly. You duno meh?

Can laugh...you have a good excuse to upgrade.

Can cry...$$$ fly away.

Funny !! I can't stop myself laughing

HHAA HAHA joke of the month!. next time camera makes must design their camera with float bag. or with submarine capabilities. :bsmilie:

good!
it means our 5d2 is made of metals... not cheapo plastic like other brand!
now i'm relieved...

lol...

Looks like I need to bring all my cameras for swimming lessons this weekends. Anyone know where is the cheapest place to enroll my 40D and 1Dmk2 for swimming lessons? :bsmilie::bsmilie::bsmilie:

Yeah let me know too..I'd like to enroll my D300 and D100 as well

i would expect it to actually execute a kung fu leap off the water, and then blast off into outer space, before returning into my hands from the sky using a parachute.

i know hassleblad has a feature that enables its cameras to do that.. why don't you buy one of those?

I thought only LEAF had it patended ;p

The TS never came back. Maybe he just wanted to make us look like Fools, apart from him.

GMAN

Gosh! This is really an entertaining thread in its own way. LoL.

I can imagine the look on the salesperson if someone approach him / her and ask if a 5D or 1D can swim or stand water to keep itself afloat... *faintz*

GMAN

doesn't matter. A group of fools is way better than just one fool standing alone.

TS might want to consider this.
Doesn't float nor swim but highly effective in waterproofing your cam at low low price.

But does that mean that their DSLR cam, which usually sells at a higher price, will have waterproof function? No.
You pay for what you get. If manual doesn't state waterproof function, pls don't buy it as a waterproof camera.
