Are these specs better than the D3? If so, then I'm definitely on the waiting list even though I've got a 1D Mk.3 and a 5D. One 5D on sale soon - even now - less than 1 year old - grab now! Before price drops!!!

You mean D3> 5DII. Probably so as Canon might not want to provoke N into another wave of technological innovation. Live and let live after all they are all Japanese. We will only know when the camera is released.
