Steve, just wondering...How do you get within 4 ft of some of these critters without them scurrying/flying away. Or worse, sting you? I used to think you have to be very far away or stay at a place for hours just to get a shot.
he loves these insects as much as the incects love him...he plays with them...:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
For macro shots, sometime we do stay ard the place for long time. studying the insect's behaviour, and also making friends with them. ;p
After seeing Steve's shots, my macro lens finally see sunlight...haha.
very good stuff ... i can feel it from my goosebumps
Amazing detail and DOF is very good ... look forward to see more of your shots![]()
Nothing to say but: :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:.
Fascinating shots...the closeup of the fly's head is eye opener. btw, why picture 1 has got a ghost image - is it a because of the slow shutter speed ?
Super macro !:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
I simple love it. Makes me regret selling my FZ 20
Thank you Hiteck.
I notice this fly keep landing on the same spot after take off, so waited for her to land again and try to capture an action shots, bang! got her. The shutter speed is at 125s, anyone out there care to explain.
