omgosh ... truly a master in this category and a willing master that shares ... amazing Steve!

Thank you Leinaj. No Master la.. love sharing and just a crazy guy. ;)

Steve, just wondering...How do you get within 4 ft of some of these critters without them scurrying/flying away. Or worse, sting you? I used to think you have to be very far away or stay at a place for hours just to get a shot.

he loves these insects as much as the incects love him...he plays with them...:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

For macro shots, sometime we do stay ard the place for long time. studying the insect's behaviour, and also making friends with them. ;p

After seeing Steve's shots, my macro lens finally see sunlight...haha.

very good stuff ... i can feel it from my goosebumps

Amazing detail and DOF is very good ... look forward to see more of your shots :)

Nothing to say but: :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:.

Fascinating shots...the closeup of the fly's head is eye opener. btw, why picture 1 has got a ghost image - is it a because of the slow shutter speed ?

Super macro !:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Hi Bigu2fan, maybe one day we shot together than I show you how to shots at 4”

During MOG outing I was shooting spider with broccoli, suddenly a bee landed on my left hand and start wonder around my fingers, straight away I turn my camera around and start shooting, the bee was happily playing with my fingers for sometime, broccoli says wow you attracted to insects, guess that’s your answer. ;)

Hey I'll definitely take you up on your offer;) I've got a 60mm macro, nowhere as sophisticated as yours hehe but I'm good to go! In the meantime I'll go practise a bit...
