Wow, at least 31 people has bought 40D just after 1 week of the launching.

assuming everybody buy only the body @$1899 * 31 = $58869 (~$59k)
if profit margin is 30% for a shop, then the shops has gained ~$20k in a week :think:

Wah if profit is 30 per cent per camera, then I open a new shop and sell you guys at only 10 per cent profit. Heee ;p The camera trade used to be very lucrative but recently alot of shop are not making as much as in the early 90's

however, since i don't live in singapore now, i wonder if canon has international warranty.

Just a comment.

Try the liveview + manual focussing using 10x magnification. Quite saisfied with results as I can shoot from different angles. Good for landscape shots & candid shoots of children.

 

[CYRN]

Dump in $300 more and you get a whole lot better new body leh. I rather spend that extra $300 on a 40D.
