Just be sure to set aside 1000 bucks for repair after your first year warranty.

not 1k. Need to set aside around 1.5k. Need a barrel assembly replacement.

new batches of nikkor 24-70mm still have barrier problems?

Anyway. not sure about new or old batches. From my understanding of the problem, it could have been solved if the design is slightly changed.

But anyway, I am not supposed to talk about it ;P
