As long as there is National Service in Singapore, there will be a reason for existence of such shops. They serve a useful purpose. The change of premises may be a temporary one only due to end of lease. They will sprout up somewhere else.
Supply will meet demand and enterprising businessmen will find ways to meet this need.

That market has great foods! I was lucky to be working in Keypoint building previously - thus eating there often.

Will miss the char kway teow, beef hor fun, pork ribs noodle, and fish soup..

And combine that with the Thai foods @ Golden Mile & Malay food @ Arab Street...

kopi stall sure open. not all food stalls will be open early at 8am.

I would miss the food... but the products...

I thought things such as torchlight, army accessories would be cheap(er) there... wah biang! They overcharge lor.

Neighbourhood stores sell items cheaper siah!
