want small, long range and light? use the Olympus m.zuiko 75-300mm.. (equivalent to a 150-600mm in 35mm context), just 430g..

the question now is the speed of af of this lens is probably not fast enough though :sweat:

'traditional lenses' with 70-200, 70-300 and 100-400 shouldnt be an issue based on previous experience.

crop factor does not incur into focal length.

Could be taking the statement literally. if restriction had been no lens above 500mm nor devices which extend any lens range above 500mm then gg liao.

My superzoom camera uses a lens that features a 35mm equivalent of 24-720mm. Dunno whether can hoot it past the RPs on duty.

Well The 500 mm Limit might be a problem even before it If you look carefully previous Post there are Focal Length Restriction which are Prohibited

i am quite confused, that means i wont be able to bring the 500mm f/4 to the event issit? but yet zooms such as 50-500mm is still possible?

i only have lens that range 17-40, 24, 85, 100 and then jump to 500mm....

one more thing, has anyone compiled a list of items that cannot bring into the airbase eg. nail clipper?

for me, i wear like going to the beach since can pass the metal detectors faster and works well when under the sun.

if you're an Alpha shooter...just get a crop body and 500mm mirror lens

scratch off the last "0" from "500mm" and you're all set
