2010 FIFA World Cup

Which Team Will Win the 2010 World Cup ?

Results are only viewable after voting.

How many former Yugoslavia countries are in this world cup? Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia. Good thing the former USSR is not so strong. Else you may end up with 24 teams from USSR playing among themselves.

Slovakia was Czechoslovakia with the Czech Republic

Yugoslavia was Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Serbia, and Kosovo

Korea DPR 0 - 3 Ivory Coast
14' [0 - 1] Y. Touré
20' [0 - 2] Romaric
82' [0 - 3] S. Kalou

2x huge defeat suffered by Korea.
Unfortunaelly for them to join the group G

and 0-0 for Brazil vs Portugal.

what a boring game.. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

After 7-0 goals against Korea DPR, this time Portugal were playing too defensively,

1 keeper, 9 defenders , 1 striker (Ronaldo).

No wonder Brazil couldn't score a goal.

If ... If Kaka could play , the result would be different ..

and 0-0 for Brazil vs Portugal.

Ya... There were some attempts from both side for goal, but overall, seems more defensive play in the game.

Hope nothing bad happens to the players when they return home.

There's quotas for each continent otherwise they might as well call it the 'Europe-South America' Cup.

Bloody boring Brazil and Portugal game. Obviously none really wanted to score. Waste my time sia watch.

*Prepping up for Spain's match...*

VIVA LA ESPANA!!! --> (Although I know u wun win the World Cup, I still support you!)

and 0-0 for Brazil vs Portugal.

what a boring game.. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

went to sleep never bother to watch
as expected, both sides just draw and dont fatigue themselves for nothing
why risk injury to star players for no good reason

and 0-0 for Brazil vs Portugal.

Wasted my time watching such a boring game.

Perhaps if Spain had played earlier and top their group, then maybe Brazil and Portugal would have tried harder to top theirs and avoid Spain in the next round.

Let's my WISH come true !

Pardon me for the England and Spain fans, but I have a feeling that your favorite teams will not pass the Second Round stage.

And usually my feeling is correct.

My predictions:

1) Argentina, Brazil, Holland, Spain will make it to the semis.
2) A southern hemispere team will win the world cup
3) South Africa will make it to the 2nd round
4) There will be an upset on the 1st match
5) England and Germany will get knockout in the quarter final
6) France and Italy will get knockout in the 2nd round.
7) Portugal will make it to Quarter Finals
8) No Asian team will make the 2nd round including Australia
9) US will make it to the 2nd round but not Mexico
10) All African team will make it to the 2nd round.

Let's see which of my predictions will not make it :)

Time to review my predictions.

1) still on track
2) still on track

3) The host bafana becomes banana
4) The 1st game is a dull draw. There have been many upsets in the 1st round.

5) It seems like either Germany or England will make it to the QF now.
6) France and Italy don't need to wait till the 2nd round to be knocked out.

7) Portugal still on track
8) Japan and S. Korea exceeded expectation.
9) Both US and Mexico made it...
10) Only Ghana made it

5 predictions still on track. 5 already busted.

i have to say after last night game that Chile was actually the more exciting side going forward. If there was no Chilean sending off, maybe the result would have been different.

June 27, 2010
