I still think that platini and blatter should be shot but England was out played and out classed. Move up to take a corner and when the counter-attack came in, what were the rest doing? Germany were all rushing forward to support and England? Jogging back.....

The defenders made mistakes.

Beckenbauer was right. Top players in EPL are all foreigners. No English players at the very top level.

Actually England has other good players but nowadays everybody jaga their rice bowl.
They say, I am injured. Don't pick me for the England squad.
You would do the same too, if you were as well paid as some of the top EPL players. Is it £100,000 or £200,000 PER WEEK or even more?
Why risk injury for the country? Don't let involvement in the WCup squad interfere with your commitment to the club matches.
Keep your BEST to play for the Club that pays you so well.

Well played Germany

For sm1 who watches EPL, no doubt my heart went for the England team yesterday. Lampard's freekick=no goal was a ****-up! Maybe 2-2, they would still have some fighting spirit. Anyway, I understand how England has been lucky so far. Germany was obviously the better team. Damn good counter against sluggish Eng deffenders who can't shut out their intruders!

Still, my Argentina is still cruising well! ;p

England has many star players...but put them all together, they don't form a good team...
I was pretty impressed with Algerian's defence as compared to England..much more precise and effective...

Germans really played with more class ytd...What a sigh...
