It is unreal.
This Arg team seems extremely unwilling to shoot at goal when inside striking range.
So strange.
They pass the ball in short distances of 2 meters to one another in front of the German Goal.
The only three Arg who try to shoot are Tevez, the substitute Pastore, and another player.

But not Messi. Maybe protecting his 1/2 a Billion dollar legs and football career. With an eye to the future after the WC.

This team is so unlike the Arg team (Leopold Luque, Ardiles, Mario Kempes,etc...)
Not sure if it is a stupendous kelong. If so, the amount of money involved is unimaginable.

I wouldn't say kelong. Not sure why so many people underrate the German team.

I think the Germans are really clinical. Once you fall behind them in the scoreline and press to attack, they will kill you on the counter attack.

Messi, too one-footed, the Germans crowded him on his left and force him onto his weaker right side, become ineffective.

What does number 4 (FOUR) mean ?

4-0 is the score when Germany defeated Australia !
4-1 is the score when Germany defeated England !
4-0 is the score when Germany defeated Argentina !

4 means Germany will be the FOUR TIMES WORLD CUP WINNER :cheergal:

With due respect to both your own opinions, Gentlemen.
As I grow a little older with each World Cup, my old strong belief of non-interference from Bookies has softened and taken a back seat.
And nowadays, my personal view is that 'interference' is pervasive and it (unfortunately) permeates even the highest rung of soccer hierarchy.
It is sad. But every four years it is an opportunity for the underground power$fuls to make their monies.

These are all my own opinions.
And I think all of us in CS can and should agree to disagree as this is a very controversial issue.
But still, it has been an enjoyable game.
My only disappointment was Germany scored a little too many goals from what I needed them to.
Thus, there goes some of my extra pocket monies to our biggest b**kie - The Singapore Pools... hahaha...:bsmilie::bsmilie:.

I too believe there are market forces at play. Even Eusebio admits that the modern game is too "commercialized".

US have 2 legitimate goals disallowed. England have a goal disallowed. Linesman error? think again.
