Those who have not been and if you are sitting at the pit stand, please bring ear plugs. Else where, it's still advisable to bring them.

I was right at the end of the pit stand where the cars exit........it was quite a painful experience if you do not wear them.

Was in front of the "durian", the ear plugs are voluntarily "mandatory" especially on race day..

Maybe she is hinting on you to buy a car that actually will roar similiar to the F1.....maybe a Lambo LP640 or Maserati Quad or Ducati Monster........

I think it's the adrenaline of the speed and sound makes her tickle........?:devil:

Thanks for the post! Seems like the general complains are the track being bumpy and the pit lane entry and exit location. Think they gonna have a sore butt at the end of the race! :bsmilie:

I would have enjoyed the event more if not for -
a) A clearer route to Gate Entry point
b) A route to inform visitors where to exit AFTER the event
c) More photographic opportunities rather than having to take the fence more than the cars.

Item B for me was the last straw in posting this negative feedback.
For those of you who are going tonight, please know that to exit Bay Grandstand, you have to walk from Marina Square > Suntec City Starbuck > Underpass to City Hall MRT. NOT THE WAY YOU CAME IN VIA CITY LINK MALL.

Watched the tv telecast last night and saw many spectators attempting to take pictures of the F1 cars using their pocket-size point-to-shoot cameras.

What exactly do they hope to capture?

Hope to see some great photos of the race from this site and enjoy the atmosphere for those of u fortunate souls!

I didnt want to take the risk of walking to Esplanade underpass, coz i would have to exit Bay Stand, walk to Overpass 5, then turn right, and walk all the way to esplanade underpass.

i did not take esplanade underpass coz whn i entered, it was CLOSED!

Oh yes, from Bay Stand, I cannot access Esplanade without crossing Overpass 5.

the UNDERPASS from city link mall to esplanade (near Adidas), was closed at 230pm. this forced us to walk to marina square to enter gate 7.
during my exit, they locked down the bridge above Subway Marina. this forced us to walk to suntec to get to city hall mrt.

Perhaps Traffic Police can "rent" out portable speeding cameras/ laser cameras which i think is fast enough to capture the F1 car:bsmilie:
