2 new lenses announced today

I am comparing RRP of US with SIN using current exchange rate.

based on my years of experience working in MNCs, if the RRP in US is set at USD1000, Singapore RRP should then be around SGD1260 to SGD1280.
Very disappointed that Nikon Singapore choose to use a ridiculous and unrealistic exchange rate of USD1:SGD1.699 :nono:

So what about the RRP of the 24-85mm lens? The RRP in US is US$599.95 and locally is $779. Not that much different. This is a really compact lens by the way and super sharp to boot. Makes a good alternative to the 24-70mm f/2.8 for travelling. :dunno:
