Yup. Cos full frame sensor Is approxImately bIgger than APSH sensor by 70%, 1D IV's sensor roughly translates to 27MP on FF.

Around 28% (27MP vs 21MP) more MP than FF.

That one moment is special; it deserves the highest FPS ever. No money can ever pay for those moments you will lose if it happens that 10fps cannot capture that SPECIAL moment.

MWP, I just did a portrait shoot with both these cams, both are great.
Haven't downloaded and processed yet, but from my initial hands on feel, the 1D4 does have some advantage with the 10fps.
I usually bracket my shots and fire off 3 at a go, just in case the model blinks or the exposure is off.
Let me process some shots then I'll be able to tell more conclusively.

Then again if you believe that 10 fps will get you the moment then you probably think that throwing money at equipment will make you a better photographer.

pardon this guy lah. he can't even get his maths right...5D2 with grip producing 4-5fps, and an 18mp 1D4...seriously. overbudgeting for equipment a bit doesn't seem to be a problem. his next post is probably gonna be about which speedlight can recycle fast enough to keep up with his 10fps

Finally someone who understands what I am driving at. Those who feel that one shot one kill is the best way to take portraits, nothing wrong with it. Just accept that there are others who may need assist from faster frame rates.
