1D4 is 16MP btw.

i've never heard of someone who needs 10fps for portraits before.
Then why do one need 6fps on 5D3? :dunno:
Phantom v711 Digital High-Speed Camera - Vision Research
The Phantom® v711 ...
perhaps this one is a better option. can't go wrong with 1.4 million fps right?
Perhaps I would recommend the Red Scarlet instead. It comes in EF mount, and goes up to 59.97 FPS! You can get EXACTLY the look you want. Not to mention its dynamic range rivals that of medium format...

If both of you can help me buy the cameras mentioned for $3.5k, I will give each of you 10% commission.

Then again if you believe that 10 fps will get you the moment then you probably think that throwing money at equipment will make you a better photographer.

Haven't downloaded and processed yet, but from my initial hands on feel, the 1D4 does have some advantage with the 10fps.
I usually bracket my shots and fire off 3 at a go, just in case the model blinks or the exposure is off.
Let me process some shots then I'll be able to tell more conclusively.
