I think F5 is able to use the 14-24. All you need is to be able to use the dials on the body to adjust the aperture because the new lenses are G lenses without aperture ring.
nope. not all film bodies. as long as it is a fully-manual camera like the fm/fe series, can't use g-lenses.
the 14-24 will work just fine on a f100... if you dun mind the ultra wide-angle. i can imagine at 14mm, it is more than wide enuf to cover the breadth of the studio. ;p
canon dun have 17-35 this lens canon have 16-35 f2.8l and 17-40f4l. i shoot portrait like 35 50 85 and 135 is the best lens. 20 i have use b4 but not as well for portrait cos feel like not enough wide and not enough to stadrand lens. if u take full body portrait will feel have some problem. like 50mm u cannot take full bdy will making the protrait shot 1. 16-35 is good lens for us cos at 16 wide and 35 are nice at portrsit and also is L series lens.
