As much as I tried, I could not see anything extraordinary of these 16-85's shots vis-a-vis the recently released lens', in particular the 18-200Vr, and D70 kit lens 18-70 (just a cursory comparison with some of my shots sometimes back with D70). The baby pictures were very nice, I must say.
Just out of curosity - wonder if any one happen to have both the 16-85 and 18-200 can compare the wide coverage when both are at the shortest focal lenght. Ken seems to indicate not much.
