Sorry, I can't keep combing through all the replies to check if this was discussed (honestly not really interested in D600, just asking out of curiosity), but based on the pictures of the back of the camera, D600 does not have the VF curtain thing (that you can open and close shutter-like to block out light entering VF for long exposures) that is on the D700/D800?

Bro, the VF curtain is provided together with the set. Hope that helps

Just got a call from my favourite shop that my D600 is ready for collection tomorrow !!! Can't wait to test it out this weekend... As an upgrader from D90, I hope I won't be disapointment by my high expectations. :bsmilie:

hmm will change is will change, but most likely another year or so, just feel that i haven torture my D7000 enough yet. haha.

1. Yes. The built in flash of the D600 can act in commander mode to wirelessly control other compatible flashes. The Nikon Creative Lighting System is extremely configurable & lets you control quite complex set ups relatively easily.

2. Yes. But in live view mode or during video it cannot keep up with fast moving subjects (according to the video review in this thread).

3. Nikon doesnt necessarily reduce prices, but the street prices do come down. Currently the camera is selling at a SGD 300 premium here compared to the US price. Wait for a few months & the local price will be closer to the US price.
