definitely getting the D600 + 85mm f1.8. But I want a zoom lens to pair up with the prime for travelling. Can't decide if should get the third party 28-300 or whack the nikon 28-300 though.

Forget the 3rd party 28-300mm zooms, they are all s**t!

Why not 24-85 vr? Optics are good and range is v usable. U can spend remainder on 70-300 vr. Optics wise prob better than 28-300
