Ok if everything goes well, I shall organize the next outing probably in 2 weeks time -- depending on the weather and my reservist off day. ;)

Preview of next outing:

Location: Bendemeer/Serangoon road

Photography Highlights:
a) Upgrading construction of 1-room flats near boon keng mrt
b) there's also a temple somewhere near by
b) Night scene shoot of traffic on overhead bridges viewing over Serangoon road & Bendemeer road (a super long stretch that is unobstructed) - fantastic long trails of lights from cars

Time: Afternoon - Evening

Both bridges offer good and unique angles:

Serangoon bridge:
Can see the oncoming traffic from town area. Long trial of front lights. Best shot at night.

Bendemeer bridge:
View ongoing traffic towards town area, hence the long trial of rear lights. Best shot during sunset and evening.

actually all 4 directions show nice views... cos if the lens is long enough, might capture the expressway from the bridge...

we can also take from the kallang river area...

if from my viewpoint, i think start from the one room flat area, around mayb 2pm den can take the whole building, move around the area, have dinner at bendemeer market at about 5pm-6pm (can rest abit), den proceed to the bendemeer road side of the bridge, den take shots, den move to serangoon side, den move to the temple (if time allows) otherwise move to the river, den can slowly move to the macpherson kopitiam there for supper or something...

oh ya... i going to help out the tsunami phototaking thingy... see if i can make it for this anot...

That arrangement is exactly what I had in mind.

Looks like you guys had fun during the last outing. Must make sure I join you guys for the next one.

Hope the timing is right...

Btw, I just went to Chek Jawa yesterday. An eye opening experience. Lots of stuff to explore and take (photos of course). Maybe we can consider doing an outing to Ubin. Even the smelly old bumboats make good subjects. :D

maybe we should rename to King Tiger Frenship Club... heheheheh... since he is our tao kay now... nxt time ask him to book a ferry for us... or maybe he can book a cruise for us to KL, even cruise to nowhere also can... den we can line up a stretch of tripod to take sunset & sunrise from the ship...

Disagree :sticktong , I own only one system, Nikon.

You owns 2 systems (Nikon and Sony) while as DCA owns 4 cameras(KonicaMinolta, Sony, Canon and xxx brand)

DCA is HE-MAN.
HE-MAN says "By the power of Sony.............."

It all comes down to the length of the lenses OR total value invested. The longer and the more expensive the more powderful.
