My shots during the Bike event. Not as sharp, perhaps need to increase shutter? Was on Continuous Burst Mode.

If only both us have the Black Rapid slung, I think all the pro photog will hide you know (without seeing our 1000D). We were kneeling, bending with all contortion and position ... as if holding on to at least a 5D MII with a Red Bandit Grey Tube. Garang le

Yeah that is why some people don't like HDR shots 'cos they tend to look like an illustration. If you go and search around on flickr for HDR shots or even just here in ClubSnap .. you can see some REALLY wierd looking shots that look like book cover illustrations of fantasy novels.

I've never been a big fan of HDR..

This is my first HDR. what do u think?

Cakka, you can find it here..

To all, you can actually apply the Picture Style settings in DPP when you're editing the RAW file.. Not necessarily in-camera.. Refer here..

hahaha. i find that doing the picture style in DPP is so lecey that i decided to set my own on my camera...

lazy pig im becoming :P

imho, i feel that there's no warmth in the picture.. sharpness is quite there..

composition wise, i think you should move the camera slightly to the right..

erhm, meaning that you should take the bridge and as well as not to cut the hotel... :)

This shot amomg others, I rest my left elbow on the barricade. Can feel the 'wind' when the cyclist pass. So glad I still have my elbow.

We tried taking from low angle pointing lens below barricade, but due to wet road, both of us got water splash on camera ,,,, not sure the lens.

Haha.. Well, its good effort to try n get everything good out-of-camera.. But sometimes, a lil PP off-camera still helps enhance an image further i feel..

Hi guys, here's my 1st attempt on HDR using photoshop. doesnt look correct isnt it? I feel, something is missing somewhere. This HDR is using fully photoshop and not the multiple shots and the use of AEB (correct or not?) which was the original and correct HDR photography technique but i feel that it's a good alternative technique for someone who browse thru old shots and think of converting it to HDR.

C&C welcome please
