i'd say both have pros and cons. 5d has less noise and better colour and button layout whereas a100 is 10MP, image does look sharper and more res LCD. The list can go longer but my point is, they are of the same class.:)

imo, the non-RS is the most solid because it's fully metal.. i think in general the first generation of minolta lens is very well buit, like beercan which i previously owned..:thumbsup:

after u bought that 9D, all your lenses suddenly become unstabilized and Sony will never offer IS lens. why not spend the same amount to satisfy the lust of SSM, STF or Zeiss lens.:bsmilie:

imo, SSM only means more silent and smooth focusing mechanism inside. it doesn't help to increase the effectiveness of SSS. only SSH will help. ;)
