But side by side with the F31 taking the photos in 6mb and the F50 in 12... does the F31 win over the F50 in terms of sharpness, clarity and sensitivity to light? Thanks!! :dunno:

You mean the F50 is not as noisy as others have complained? Do you think it would be worse in low light situations like scuba diving photography then? Thanks:)

MScolor has the F50 with underwater case + the usual freebies for $549+249. I made a cold call just then to the shop. But I'm waiting for my friend who has a F31 with uw housing- he's got a source that has a spare but still checking.
