thanks for all the great tips! I'll prob get (now at 95%) the alpha! Noise is one issue (i mainly use 200 to 800 range) and it's only for recreational use. Thanks again.

Going to buy the alpha this weekend with kit lens, mostly likely.. Still have one reservation though, which is the noise at high ISO. Do any of you guys who have it have any last minute advice/tips/comments on this noise issue? Aside for that, the only other quibble is the build quality...
