    Can IR trigger control 580ex?

    ST-E2 operates using ir. Hence, needs line of sight. However, in a closed environment e.g. room the st-e2 will be able to trigger the other flash as well even if it's in front of the flash. If you use it outdoor don't think can work that well. You need line of sight.

    IQ wise both lens head to head but Canon wins and pricey because: -Internal focusing (lens does not extend) -FTM -USM (faster focusing speed) -better built quality For me, I'll rather pay the extra because I really hate the lens extending during focusing. One reason why I rather wait...

    Is the 35L worth the money?

    Am skipping the f2 for the L. Colours and contrast are much better but I don't think you can compare sharpness with the 135L. The 135L is third behind the out of production 200 1.8L and the 85L. The 135L IMHO is a must have lens even if you have the 70-200 IS. BTW photodo's rating as follows...
