Use to be f4 90% of the time...... but now mostly f5.6 because of my kid.... :) Same as synapseman, Group photo has to be f/5.6 to f/8

You should get a hands on both camera and see which one feels better to you. :)

I am using R210 with sepoms CIS for a few years now. Still going strong. I use it mainly for printing photos. The colours are pretty accurate. I have printed hundreds of 4Rs and many A4s. Very satisfied. :thumbsup:

I have R210 epson printer, and I have to brighten the photo too before print, just slightly. My monitor are calibrated too with spyder. The colours are perfect just like prints from any other pro labs. :)

Personally, I dislike lens that creeps. 2 situations that get on my nerves. 1) When I point my lens down in macro or product shots. 2) When I manually prefocus and point my lens up to take that fireworks in the sky. I know some people who bought creepy 18-200 VR and put on B&S straight away...

I have never seen Magic Lantern Guides: Nikon D2H but have seen Thom Hogan's book. And it contains plenty of extra useful information you don't find anywhere else. :)

Someone already mentioned the judging process is over. The arrangement should be the same as last year. Perhaps this year there's also a Safra judge. Judging is fair since the pics are anonymous. If you are good, you stand a chance. If you won last year and you are still good you can win again...
