BTW what's your reason for buying the Batt grip? Do you find the regular grip too small? Or for the extended battery life? I personally feel the battery life without the grip of around 2k without flash quite plenty. However, the grip is a bit on the small side for my hands....

I've had a few errors the first few weeks I had my D90 with kit lens. Have been changing lenses frequently ever since and experienced no errors for the past 2 months.

Love the first shot, but I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I am assuming your vantage point for these pics is not for anyone....

If you can find one, why not? It's a very nice lens. Somewhat heavy, but when you look at the pics, and realise you couldn't get these results with slow lenses, you feel happy. :)

IMHO, you'll need to shoot at between f2.8 and f4 to eliminate the fence, depending on your distance to the fence. Shutter speed, use 1/500 if you can, minimum 1/350. Leave all you slow lenses at home, seriously, don't bother. My first GP with somewhat decent gear, and I can tell you it's...
