Hi 60D users, can i check how long does the battery usually last for taking stills vs for video. Does closing the articulated screen save battery? Also, can it take video with direct power source as in power cable?

Im interested in the possibilities of using articulated screen and am torn between GH2 and Canon's 60D. Im currently using Lx3 and had use analog slr (Nikon F601) in the past, yes that was a long time ago. Is GH2 a good DSLR for entry level users? Does the EVF offer 100% view? Thks in adv

not necessary, i have friends who are waiting to get LX3 once the price drop, its more affordable especially for those that like D-Lux 4. :p
