In manual mode the 1/30 issue i was talking about would not be a concern because we are in total control including the shutter.
In case of flash, GF1 remains at ISO100 too.
The difference comes when in Aperture mode, GF1 is 1/30, GF2 is 1/60, and D90 is configurable, before ISO is bump up...
From your description, I guess GF2 and GF1 works the same way except that the speed default in P and A mode is 1/60 for GF2 and 1/30 for GF1. I guess Panasonic does know about the complains from GF1 and decided to change it to 1/60 in the GF2. And yes that was what i wanted.

Like what Hydrodurn said, 1/30 is enough to combat handshake, but not good enough for moving objects.
After trying out many modes, I noticed the camera does not up the shutter speed unless it drops to minimum ISO100.
