Does Lemon Law covers grey units?

You're wrong on this. It applies to any Singapore registered business that sells the item.

Does Lemon Law covers grey units?

That's murphy's law not lemon law. BTW Singapore's "Lemon Law" requires you to seek redress from the retailer.

King Tiger's World War 2 Battlefield Tour (Europe)

KT i"ve always enjoyed your "Now & Then" series. Suggest you print a book - maybe an ebook for starters. Fantastic - I guess most of the pictures of "Then" would be shot on a 5 cm lens. Maybe that should be your defacto lens although I do understand why you use something a little wider -...

[ Thoughts ] A trinity of lenses for OMD

Hear hear! A doubling of focal length - in old 35mm format that would work out to 24mm, 50mm and 90mm - excellent. These are the 3 most used Zuikos for me during the original OM days - only need to add a 200mm f4 Zuiko and you're all set. I guess in m43 land i'll be torn between getting the 75mm...

    Canon 6D

Looks like a polycarbonate wonder, no mention of weatherproofing but interchangeable focusing screen! I think this is really made for the enthusiasts. Looks like prices of manual focus lenses are gonna rise as Canon body makes the ideal choice for legacy glass.

Nikon D600 Makes First Appearance... Where's Canon?

I dont think canon is sitting idly by. It's around the corner for sure - maybe 6 months. Hopefully it wont be a megapixel race, better autofocus, in a cheaper body would be great. Something for the enthusiast not pro. I think if the cut back on shutter durability, weather resistance, frame rate...

    Sony - RX1

Hi Anthony, as much as I would love to have this camera, the price is a bit steep to say the least. BTW your former Nikkor 50mm f1.2 AIS is just wonderful - sorry for the OT. :-)

    D800/E or D600

If you are serious about landscapes and only landscapes go for a 4 X 5 or 8 x10 film camera. Check out bh photo website. If you are an amateur and want compact 35mm film size any 35m SLR will do - you'll need some wide angles - 24mm or 20mm - try an old Leica R4 with matching Leica R lenses. Get...

    13/09/2012: Nikon announces D600 FF 24,3 mp

Amazon was selling the D700 at US$2,000/$2100 - SG price at the same time was still $3,090 that's 1.5x. Anyways if you really want to get it cheap go to HK have a holiday. Come back and declare at customs get $600 off duty free allowance and pay 7% on the remainder. Try Echo in HK.

Has to be kit price - Nikon Singapore may not have good marketing people but they are not stupid.

    13/09/2012: Nikon announces D600 FF 24,3 mp

You're probably right - Nikon Singapore doesnt have marketing smarts. If their Singapore RRP matches US they will achieve: 1) Will not cannibalize D800 2) True upgrade path for D7000 users 3) Switch Canon aps-c users 4) Sell a ton of lenses 5) Sell in quanitity before Canon returns fire. Which...

    13/09/2012: Nikon announces D600 FF 24,3 mp

First of $2099 is USD and is the list price. Street price will be abound 80% so USD$1,679 x 1.25 = S$208? Is this correct?
