Sry to hear about yer D70 problem. For NPS membership, I think there's even a prerequisite for particular models of DSLR which they deemed as "professional". The D70 would not be considered as professional. Read about this somewhere on the net, not sure how it applies here in Singapore...

You know why? Cos he's a bipod on a quadpod, so need monopod, loh. Next time, someone can try to make this quadpod into a tripod. Just one saw will do. :bsmilie:

I'm using a teleplus 2x teleconverter with my 105mm micro-nikkor. Good thing about this is that it doesn't shorten the working distance, but your f-stops will suffer.

The section joints are weak points. There will be some amount of wobble at the joint regardless of the brand, ofcos the better makers minimise the amount of play at these areas. The trade off is collapsed length, 4 section tripods are easier to carry around. Some users actually try to work...
