Most of the time yes, unless it's the same product. Otherwise no one would buy the more expensive L lenses.

I need a filter for my 24-105mm L lens(77mm), as a protection. With is the best filter under 200 to use which i can cap the lens cover back on it, without removing the filter? Non polarizer cos I want one which changes the result of the lens the least.

If it's a hobby then they are all wants and not needs. ;) I'm a freaking lazy weakling... light lens with IS please!! ...so I no need carry tripod as well! :sweatsm: I know it's lame, but I'm the sort that will choose what i want to shoot from what my lens can capture well...

I'm getting the Canon 5d and 3 lenses, the 17-40mm, the 70-200mm f4 & a 100mm L HIS lens. Maybe a battery grip, or an extra battery plus a speedlite 430ex ii. Will the Kata 3in1 - 20 or Kata 3in1 - 10 be enough? Thanks for help on this stupid question. :D

Erm.. even if they were the same price I would go for the lighter F4. I'm a hobbyist out to enjoy his photography. Not a someone who enjoys showing off big ass lens, or like to carry heavy lens around. I would have preferred the lens in black rather than the loud white.

Aiyo chicks are attracted to BIG cameras ... best is with telefocus lens, never mind if it's not suitable... just photoshop a few kilo off and you are their hero. ;p

Thanks for the welcome. Erm, I don't know how to begin with the Photoshop tips, maybe you could post a pic and ask a qtn? I also would be happy to trade Photoshop lessons for Camera handling lessons. I have years of exp with that software, but hardly used my camera skills. ;)

I took some basic lesson before, pretty much forgot most of the stuff 10 years ago, looking to improve my point and shoot skills. The information here is daunting... I'm a designer and use I'm using a D40x for my work. I'm probably better at photoshop than a camera. I hope to learn from...
