Hi,
I will also be planning a similar trip in March, perhaps about 10 days or so but we will be planning it ourselves, including where to stay, which airline to fly as well as where to go and have fun around the city.
Going for free and easy would be much cheaper since you have the...
Not easy to find a solo female backpacker travelling round the world... but it's really nice to find one here. :) Have you got any plans to backpack to East Asia? Or have you been to any countries over there?
I also like to travel and for starters would like to explore East Asia. Just came...
I'm not shy about taking my DSLR out for a shoot since everyone has one these days and almost everywhere i went, there will be a few with DSLRs and some are even larger than mine. Once you are focused in getting the pictures, you don't really care so much since by then you will be so engrossed...
i would also do likewise. Just shoot and mind my own business. Though i might look at them for awhile but definitely not stare... and after that off into my own world to snap whatever fancies me. But i don't mind socialising a little if anyone approaches me.

I would say both are important though i think the person behind the camera is slightly more important. No matter how good the tool is, you still need the skill to compose a nice shot. If not, anybody can just produce good pics with a good camera...
Through work and savings. have long been interested in photography before the digital format came out but it was really an expensive hobby back then and i was still a student... now that there is a job and with the digital format available, this hobby is much affordable now.
I never asked for any permission when i took a pic of the food that i was about to tuck in. It was an indian restaurant in Little India. Was worried that the staff might not be happy but apparently no one stopped me or complained about it, despite using the flash which is so obvious. Glad i took...
Was interested in photography way back in jc days and even joined the photography club hoping to learn more about the techniques and all but sadly, the club was not very active and i did not even get to use their cameras, mostly the seniors were the ones who took pictures of any events. Newbies...
Sorry I should have posted the lens type... :embrass:
it is a Zuiko 40 - 150 mm lens and I went to Olympus service centre to have it cleaned for only $65. I actually considered getting a new one if it is not serviceable. Will be able to collect it this coming Thursday and hopefully all goes...
I'm thinking of sending in my lens for cleaning as I discovered the much hated fungus on it but would it be cheaper to get a new lens or send it for repair? Appreciate it if anyone can enlighten me on this. Thanks!
