Hi guys, Just found out that one of my lenses had something on the elements inside.. It looked like some oily residue that dispersed from the side form one of the elements.. It's clear with a bit of rainbow colour and it is a christmas-tree shape.. Was thinking how much will nikon singapore...

Hi to all, Am having some problem with the file format. I chose RAW + JPEG fine in the menu.. But when i access the files later, i found out that 2 JPEG of the same pic were saved instead of one RAW and one JPEG fine.. And the file will have been named one as DSC_001 and the other same pic will...

Than for the inputs.. Was thinking is Transcend 133x CF card any good? And where to get them in Singapore. Dun seems to see them in the market very often?

What i meant if if i get a faster card, the buffer can be cleared faster so enable the camera to shot faster. I read somewhere that D300 was tested to shot 100 shots non stop at JPEG Large Fine.. But i can't seems to get that kind of speed i only manage to get 26 shot at that setting after...

So as to say getting a higher speed CF will not improve the camera picture taking speed by leaps and bounds.. Is that right to say?

Thanx guys for all the help.. Playing with the setting did squeezed a lot more out of the buffer size.. I managed to get "r26" JPEG Large fine when i off the D-Light, High ISO NR, Long Exp NR and set the file compression to size priority. Really appreciated all the wonderful help i can get...

Hi Guys Encountered something strange with D300 today. Current Im using a "normal" speed Kingston CF 4GB Card and when i have pressed the shutter, the counter showed "r12", meaning i have 12 shots of buffer rite? Btw, the setting is JPEG large fine. As in the manual, i should have abt 43...

Tried everything mentioned less using pc to format as i do not have a CF card reader.. Just wanna ask is it possible to format using a pc via the camera using the USB cable? Cos the camera can't even read the card so is it possible to do that?

I cannot record anythink on the card cos the word FOR is on the LCD instead of the no. of shots left..
