I have used the sigma 17-70 for over a month now. And I can say I was pleasantly surprised with it. Build quality so so, plasticky, but optics excellent. It really is. It is light and small. Speed ok, the 28-75mm tad faster. At 17mm it has some distortions, I feel slightly worst than the...

These Rm1.5k units are probably "ahem" units, without serial numbers, warranty, packaging or battery/charger. Better clarify with seller first

Is yours the HS version? It is one of the fastest minolta lens and really do feel quite fast. But I admit not having tried the canon 300mm hsm before. Digi
