could it be your aperture to big? Use F9 and above and try again. See it improve or not. I am also new too.:)

I have tested at home and in Eastgear. Eastgear Camera Devices EG-ENEL3e third party battery not working for my D300. I even went down to Sim Lim Square to get other third party battery. Also no luck, only original work for me. I you really want to buy, bring your D300 camera to the shop...

I think compatible battery can still power up or work for D200. But not the D300 in most case.

I bought "EG-ENEL3e" from Eastgear and they have refund me since it is not working. I have not seen CD-ENEL3e from any shop. No choice, i have bought the Nikon original battery ENEL3e.

I just went to Sim Lim Square and buy another original Nikon ENEL3e battery for spare. Also check with Alan Photo and some other shops. Confirm there with a few other compatible batteries. None can work. Anyway thanks...just wonder why your's can work...

I think my setting is Sanyo TV. But what number to set I am not sure because my PDA is not with me as I am not in sg. I have use my PDA to trigger my D70 to take picture before. Hope that helps.

Now back to hotel. Just came back from San Francisco, it is such very beautiful place. Almost every corner you can take pictures. Winter time, no snow, no rain...bold trees with no leaves....so nice....too bad. :cry: **** D70 cannot wake up from death. Have to go with my Sony video cam...

me too...I just married my D70 somewhere mid October...now is about 3 months. And it choose the right time & right place to pass away. :cry:

Thanks ParkerR. Luckily I still carry along my Sony video cam but it is not that fun anymore. DSLR has more fun to play with.

I just tried your above tricks but still don't work. :cry: Tomorrow going to San Francisco without a camera. :cry: Nikon D70 is giving a bad day today and a bad USA trip. :thumbsd: I wonder how can they pay me back. Another free trip from them. :angry: Anybody still have any new tricks...

Oh no!!!! my D70 just stop working and shows "Err" at the top screen. Worst still...I am in San Jose...USA. My warranty card is in SG. Help....can anyone advise me what to do. How to reset the camera? or.... I have tried update the firmware B to 1.03 but still the same. I also tried...
