Which Canon DSLR and lens should an amateur pick? Please recommend!

my opinion... there's like new camera launch every 6 months or so...bottom line is that you cun catch up with the technology unless you have lots of money to burn! canon - great colors , nikon - solid built (in a nut shell). others - forget about it coz the range of lens is limited. a 8...

    If I have 70-200mm f2.8 IS, should i be getting the 135mm f2?

my opinion... have the 70-200/2.8IS...pros-fast,bright,sharp,versatile and the best of all..IS!can take any picture 2-3 stop down. downside...a tad expensive and darn HEAVY! will kill your hands and back in 3 hours! 135/2L..tried it before... prime L lens..physics! the sharpness is slightly...

Why is crumpler bag so popular?

love travelling and shooting people..mostly using the scenery as backdrop to create some sort of journalistic pic....the 17-40L is one of my lightest and robust lense. sharp and pretty proportional when mated with a 1.6x crop body. just dump everything into a toploader 75AW and keep a spare lens...

Why is crumpler bag so popular?

here's my opinion... when i started photography, my first bag was a crumpler. it was trendy, solidly built, loud and no regrets. then my equipment list started to expand and eventually, the bag became smaller...(hahaha) tried squeezing lots of things and it was heavy as hell. no choice but to...

to share some experience...have a lot of reservations before buying the "dabai"...price, weight, IS reliability (read form forum), cabinet bound etc etc... walk into the shop with cam and tried F2.8IS and F4.... instantly forget all my worries! the old changi camp opposite the current commando camp possess a rusty colonial feel especially in the morning...quiet with some buildings..dunno if they r out of bounds???? there's an old airfoce museum then but now shifted to paya lebar..its FOC and have many old planes...dunno if you can...

    New 350d or Old 300d+lens?

The 300D used to cost around 2k about 1-1.5 back and now its value have dropped (not in production)...so will the 350d eventually....the 17-40is 1000k+ then and its still cost as much now....what i saying is that L lense dun depreciated so much... the 300d is by no means any inferior camera...
