For AD or pre-wedding?

Now a day couples seldom go for outdoor shot on AD, except for those didn’t spend much money on the pre-wedding portraits, or love to have lots of photographs

For me, I would prefer a location, must have car park be nearby, must have shade, and must have diverse scene at same site. So if I have 20 mins to shoot also no problem.

East side: Pasir Ris Park, Elias Road,
Changi Airport, T1, T2 (for raining day)
East Cost Park, carpark D1

CBD: Empress Place, Clerk Quay, One Fullerton, Esplanade (for raining day)

South: Labrador Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park

West: Bukit Batok Town Park (Little Guilin),

North: Sembawang Park, Lower and Upper Peirce Reservoir Park.

Various town parks also good.

Probably just to accumulate those places which you guys had done shoots before and to share with the rest...so those who wish to take weddings can locate these places easier.. :D

You might also locate some interesting places, like some coffee shops, special buildings...or even wet markets? hehehehe

Interesting place? Ok, did a wedding shoot last year seventh month at Bright Hill.

wow, they must be very open minded...

Both are Ang Moh. :bsmilie:

any links to the bright hill shots? interested as to how to compose a wedding shots at such places

That place is fine, but not for any wedding couple, unless the wedding couple is devoted Buddhists or like this couple I shot.

Some areas at Fort Canning are not suitable to photograph for wedding couples, or even walk pass, the couple may not aware or mind of this, but you, as a photographer should avoid it.

Just wondering which part of Upper Aljunied Raod is he referring?

the old changi camp opposite the current commando camp possess a rusty colonial feel especially in the morning...quiet with some buildings..dunno if they r out of bounds???? there's an old airfoce museum then but now shifted to paya lebar..its FOC and have many old planes...dunno if you can bring camera now that its adjacent to the airbase. good for those who like the shop AVIATOR....selatar airbase is equally nice.......

Mt Vernon Crematorium?
Just kidding. I would love to know too :)

Toking about Seletar Airport, there is a nice wide piece of grassland if u guys take the west camp route.

Turn left once u enter the main gate (in front of picadally circle), and turn left again immediately on the first left turn, u will come to a nice long curve dat leads directly to Seletar Airport runways and hangars. To the right of the nice long curve, there is a large piece of grassland.

Perfect for wide angle portraits. :)

BTW, assuming if Old Changi Hospital grounds can be accessed, its quite good oso. But juz dun capture any 'funny things' inside can liao. :)

29. Old Ford Factory

i think it's being tear down le, can anyone confirm?

Hmm... The one at Bukit Timah where General Percival surrendered to General Yamashita on 15 Feb 1942?

I think its being preserved. Not sure abt that though.
